The Air Jordan 4 Retro Royalty has a combination of metallic gold accents on top of a monochrome black suede upper.

The distinctive sculpted eyelets and a Jumpman logo on the faux leather heel panel both reflect light. The woven tongue tag and rubber outsole, both of which sport additional Jumpman branding and a classic herringbone traction pattern for grip, are also covered with Jumpman insignia. The polyurethane midsole that has an AIR sole unit that can be seen underneath the heel is for cushioning.
